Curious, when is a firearm no longer considered a firearm when talking about transporting on person or vehicle or within a sterile or prohibited area?
Is the removal of the firing pin, barrel, or other such things make the firearm not a firearm?
Or is it as long as it's a registered firearm, there's no getting around the law?
I'm curious because say on Halloween, if someone were to UOC as part of their costume, what would make the gun "safe" to pass through a school zone and such.
