I think rather than re-blueing the failing finnish on my PA-63, I want to make it a natural finnish. What's the best way to remove the blueing? Just work it with a buffing wheel?

Well...if you try the blue remover from birchcasey it will most defintely remove it (ask me how I know) but it WILL oxidize immediately after removal (use a wire brush or steel wool to take off the blue). I must warn you though...this stuff stinks...I mean like it stinks funky (will probably make you want to vomit, but it works.)Originally posted by wilit
