    Shoot at SGVGC?

We should all go there to shoot before it closes...
If we can scrape the funds together, rent the place out for the day. Don't they have a grill?

    mmmmm tri-tip and range time!

I'm sorry, but what is 'SGVGC'? And what are the details regarding it's closing?

San Gabriel Valley Gun Club, a nice range in the northern LA Basin that is being pushed out by local politicians. Full details are in other threads.

AFAIK, (and I shoot at SGVGC every week) the only range you can rent is the combat range down on the northeast corner of the property.

On a related note, there's a loosly organized group called the "No Name Pistol Club" that holds matches on the combat once per month on Saturdays. I think a few of them post here at Calguns, maybe you could contact them.

Well folks, its official. Thanks to pressure from the Azusa City Council, Vulcan is terminating SGVGC's lease in 18 months. We should all go there and shoot, preferably as a large group. It might help them in their efforts to be able to afford to relocate.

Hey Draven 32, SVVGC is not my fav. shooting spot but it is a shame it is closing. Organize a calguns shoot, maybe on a A Sunday and I will see about attending.

Where is your favorite? I've been going to SGVGC because its 5 min from my house... if there's traffic and I hit three red lights!

Is the Angeles range still inaccessible? Should I go up to Burro Canyon?

And, How can we organize a shoot?

                        OK folks,

Sunday, June 19 at the San gabriel Valley Gun Club. Be there, bring a wide variety of firearms, we'll have fun. Spread the news!
