All new guns have that "mass Produced" look and feel.

    It's a shame too.

I wouldn't say there's anything wrong with the quality of my PX4, but it's definitely a mass produced item. Just from all the excess seaming on the plastic parts. But then again, I haven't messed around with older Berettas so I don't have much to compare.

My M9 looks beautiful and works wonderfully. Glocks look hideous as sin out of the box.

my M9 works perfect too, but I have an M9 from the early 90's and it just feels a lllllil different. pluss the brandnewone has a few plastic parts (spring-guide rod, trigger.) and a bunch of very small metal burrs that you can only see if your looking closely.

Anything in specific you're referring to?

In general, I feel the 92FS is slowly decling in quality. The polymer guide rods, the poly coated parts (others can argue it doesn't make a difference). I've been following the 686,687 DT-10 on SGW and the folks there are stating theres a slow, but steady decline in O/Us.

Berettas aren't usually the company first thought of in declining quality however. I must agree, however, in my opinion its a very slow (and marginal) decline.

For the past 483 years the Beretta family has and continues to produce some of the most exemplary firearms in the history of modern mankind. They have spent millions upon millions of dollars on perfecting the most reliable, durable firearms available anywhere at any price. Their commitment to quality is with out peer.

No other firearms manufacture even comes close! No one!
