Is the VEPR legal here?

It's not listed, so it's an "OLL".
Needs to be made featureless or have a magazine lock.
They pop up every now and then in the WTS forum.
They appear to sell in the $1200-1500 range.sigpic

Quiet is correct (as always).
There is a persistent rumor, however, that some small very small subset of some VEPRs may be built on Arsenal SLG- or SLR- receivers - and am unsure if they were re-marked or not. This could lead to "It's listed!" drama that should be avoided.
If you find a VEPR and it's just a VEPR and does not say "Arsenal SLG-xxx" or "Arsenal SLR-xxx" on it you are good to go (assuming configured features suite is OK).
So maybe have this double-checked before ordering/shipping...

Vepr K in .223 or 7.62x39 go for $900 to $1,300, like Quiet said, but the 5.45x39 goes for more, as much as $1,500 and more. The .308 Vepr's are $700 and above.sigpic

Bill, I have never heard of this before. That is interesting. There are some SLR milled receivers of Bulgarian origin that are out there. Why they would try to adapt a stamped/RPK trunnion, Russian Vepr parts on there would be beyond me. The stamped line of SLR rifles are all Bulgarian.Quiet is correct (as always).

Regarding the SLG. I have never come accross this animal, except hearing it was in some book. Maybe the DOJ went off of that book, but again, I have never seen an SLG marked rifle.sigpic

hoozaru, if you come accross a listing of RobArm Vepr rifles, it's a obsolete site. RobArm stopped importing them in 2006 (?). Molot in Russian, where the Vepr's were built is no longer in business.they are always listed on Robinson Arms website, and always unavailable
