      What gun?

      What magazine?

      What caliber?

What round does it do it on?

Does it stay in at all?

How can we help you without more?

First off the top of my head, you're probably hitting the mag release button once in a while with your firing grip. I used to have issues with a Sig P220 that would lock the slide back because my finger hit the slide lock, because of poor grip form.
