All we can do is follow Kestryll suggestion:

AB962 Passed, What we can do now.

As many of you know, AB962 passed the Legislature and Arnie signed it.
No matter what we think of it nor how foolish, useless and wrong it is, it has been signed and could be law.
'Could be' because CGF was prepared for this and has already done work to build a case to challenge this bad law.

We worked our backsides off to get this vetoed and we did score some victories.
SB585 was vetoed as was SB41.
But we lost AB962. For now.....

This is NOT the time to quit, give up or run away!
The question has been asked, "Well what can we do now!?", and I have an answer for you.

We learned a lot opposing AB962 and SB585 and we learned we are capable of an awful lot more than many thought we were.

My answer to you is this.

A) Donate to CGF, we have so many bad laws that require us to engage them in court and CGF is doing just that. CGF is engaged on the Roster, CCW, Incorporation and now Ammo and all of this costs.
Some are already paying that cost in time, effort, time lost from families and massive amounts of sweat and money.
Let's help them out by making sure the funds are there to keep fighting.

B) We have a loud voice but we CAN be louder.
How many gun owners, shooters, hunters, collectors, etc. do you know that are NOT Calguns members?
Talk to your friends, family and people at the range and gun store. The larger our membership is the louder our voice is even if everyone doesn't yell at once. Our membership number IS noticed and the larger we are the more credence our voice is given.
If 100 people join it's likely that 20-25 of them will call or email when needed and that increase is massive!

C) DO NOT GIVE UP!
It's easy to get discouraged and want to call it a day, I know because I felt a bit of that last night.
But I GUARANTEE you this one thing, we WILL LOSE 100% of the fights we do not fight!
The only time we will truly lose and not be able to do anything about it is if we give up.
We're still here, we still are fighting the fight and we're not going anywhere.
But it will be a lot easier if you stay in the fight and stand with us. and get others to do so as well.

wow i thought/hoped the other thread was a fluke... i figured this was gonna happen as wally dont like paper work but wasant expecting to hear about it till this time next year...
with all the handgun ammo getting diverted out of california walmarts, other states should get a real boost in there shipments....

Not like that is any new...haven't seen anything but shotgun ammo in their stores around here for months.
