    Central Valley, Visalia meet?

AEC1 is coming up from Imperial Beach for family biz and wanted to know if we could get away for lunch probably Saturday.

In the meantime greasemonkey is trying to hold the interest of all the Central Valley Calgunners for an upcoming townhall meeting.

So I thought waiting does not preclude some of us neighbors getting together for an intro and a *****fest amongst ourselves. Trade ammo and gun stories and generally BS for an hour or 2 over a cheeseburger.
Maybe plan or discuss some strategies and come up with a better secret handshake.

Greasemonkey and AEC1 appear to be up for meeting some local Calgunners, anyone else interested?

Which Sat? This weekend doesn't work for me.
The thing with firearms is that they are not like any other consumer product, simple ownership of one carries a lot of responsibility.

Sorry about that easy, speaking of this Saturday the 17th.

We are fairly close here so just about anytime anyone wants a get together we ought to be able to muster up a few of us. Between Fresno, Visalia, Tulare, Hanford and Lemoore there should be close to a dozen or so Calgunners.
It needn't be a planned event, just a continuation of our online discourse over a cup of Joe.

Looks like its just you and me then, and AEC1 if he calls.

          We'll coordinate.

          I'll PM my number.

I just spoke with AEC1, will be there at 1 pm.
Heard from greasemonkey he said he was down for it, will be there at 1pm.

We are going to meet today at the Applebee's in Visalia on Akers and Highway 198 at 1 O'clock.
            That's 1300 for you Marines

Any other Calgunners in the neighborhood pop in for a bit of a BS session.

Vick, thanks for driving over to meet with my uncle, son and I, we had a great time. I look forward to meeting up with you again next time I come up. Perhaps I will bring some hardware up and we can excercise it...

Yes I enjoyed the conversation also, didn't seem like we spent that much time there. I'm up for exercising some hardware, ought to have a couple new items by then. Greasemonkey might know of a place fairly close we could go shoot up some bullseyes.

I started a thread here regarding the Young Marines conversation and wishes to start a Unit locally.
And a second thread here in 'Calgunners in Service' forum.

How did it go at McDermont's?
Did you guys get to play the Laser Tag?

I'm going to take wife out there and play some of that, she get's so excited and confused with action stuff.

Yeah lets do this again next time you are in town.

                  Central Valley guys;

We need to get together out here from time to time. We most likely won't all be able to meet at the same time or place but some of us can move around rather freely. I for one can make a few trips to Bakersfield and Modesto on occasion with more frequent trips to Fresno/Clovis and Tulare/Visalia area's. Okay, Coalinga too, I'll ride the bike for the twists and curves or we can meet at Harris Ranch.

Small groups of 2-3-4 or more, whatever it takes to get us together in an offline setting. Greasemonkey raised his hand to coordinate so work through him and let's see if we can meld some sort of Activist team together.

By the way there is a TEA Party boot camp the 24th, next Saturday, at the Fresno Fairgrounds. Admission is $15 and then when it's over that same ticket will get you into the Rock-n-Rod Revival

Boot Camp is from 8:30 am to 2 pm then Rock n Rod is from 10am to 6pm

You'll probably see me and wife, greasemonkey at the TEA PArty fershur. Then Abinsir is working the Rock n Rod and me and wife again will be there.

Look for Calgunners wearing Calgunners apparel
