Ammo out of state???

AB962 is law, So in 2011 can we go out of state and buy ammo? and just bring it back with out having to register it when we come back? or is that a no no?

that is legal. the bill only states that ammo transactions must be face to face, but only applies in CA. they can't make outside states FFL conform to our rules.

so leaving the state to get ammo is legal. that is until they add in some stupid law where you can only carry a certain amount of ammo in your car when entering the state or some BS like that.

Question...does this apply only to pistol ammo or does it apply to rifle calibers as well?

Handgun calibers. Read the law. It's been talked about here quite extensively.

The problem is most places - even out of state are still out of ammo. Maybe this will change in a year. I have my doubts the store shelves will be full again any time soon, especially since many from thie site will flock to Reno and LV to continually buy it up.

Was in LV this weekend and they had about as much ammo as the gun shops by me.
