If you want the blanks to cycle the action you need the adapter. Why?

If you shoot blank rounds, it will be a pain to clean the gun. How do I know???

yea i just wanted to try it out to see how its like.so.... how do you install the adapter on the rifle?

If you have a threaded barrel, then you can use a surplus Soviet AK blank firing adaptor.

If you use full flash blanks you won't need and adapter. They contain more powder than a live round and will reliably cycle the action.
