Kroil

I just got the latest flyer from MidwayUSA. The 8 ounce cans of Kroil are now $4.99 ($3 off) and I'm tempted to order a few cans.

Have any of you used this product before? The information I've found via the Internet suggest that it does work well at cleaning lead and powder fouling (a bit too well for the tastes of the user who's review was at the top of the search results list).

The best stuff i have ever used. works great for bore cleaner to removes copper fouling with out using a bore brush,they also have some other great products

I prefer PB Blaster, but Kroil is also very good. Thrust (http://ken-co.com/castle/thrust.htm) is also rumored to be very good, but I've never used it.

I've been using Kroil for the last 5 years now for bore cleaning// I love it... I buy it by the gal can now... Midway had that on sale a few months ago.

To my experience, it's pretty good to use against lead.. but really doesn't do much do anything against copper..

I prefer PB Blaster, but Kroil is also very good.

I've tried 'em both, and IMO, PB Blaster is second only to a torch for getting rusted fasteners un-stuck.

I've got a can of Kroil sitting here and use Zep's Zepreserve a lot more often...
