    Search function doesn't work right

When I search 'pof' I get 'no matches' even though I can see 'pof' in a title on the page. What am I doing wrong?

    Someone should fix that.

Nice, I didn't even notice it was there. I was having the same issues and have given up using search function.
      Thanks for pointing it out.

4 letters is the minimum length for a search term I believe. Sometimes you can also try "pof*" without the quotes. * is a wildcard and sometimes qualifies as a fourth character.

the search db is munged up. Kestryll said he set it to index 2-letter words, but it doesn't even index 3-letter words.

In addition to that many 4+ letter words are not indexed as well. For example, a search for Ruger will miss many Ruger threads.

Thanks all. It's hard to search about 'search' when the search function is messed up.

I just ran into this yesterday when I tried searching for anything Uzi. Thanks for the search tip.
