Vegas gun show

Im thinking about flying to a gun show in Vegas I found two that are coming up. I dont think they are the same promoter but which one do you recommend ?

Do the Phoenix one in late Feb, FAR better than the LV ones, IMO. Oh, and I would suggest against flying to and from the gunshow if you can avoid it, for obvious reasons.

DO you mean the SAR show in AZ ? or just a local regular show.

The Az show is a major trip for me I usually attend the Big Reno Show (Hereafter BRS) and the Crossroads of the west shot at the convention center in Reno also on occasion.

Ive gotten a bit tired of the cowboy garbage at the BRS.

If anyone wants information on these shows use GOOGLE its your friend.

The BRS is 3 or 4 times per year and the CROTW show is at least 2 if not 3 times per year.

Im going to visit family in Vegas so I thought I might as well go when they have a gun show. It only costing $95 to fly roundtrip. I plan on shipping anything I buy to avoid the hassle. If I cant make it for the gun show where are some place I can buy reasonable priced gun accessories ? I really dont care about shooting the full auto stuff.

I agree! If you can't go (it's only a 5hr drive from Vegas), then I suggest you go to Citadel Gun & Safe (close to the strip), Black Rifle Armory (Henderson), or Bill's Buy and Sell. Your best bet for accessories is Citadel.

Oh, and if you go to the gunshow, go to the Crossroads one. I bet there'll be a loooooooooong line, so get there early.

The January show is probably the Claude Hall show and it has degenerated to the point that I will not go, it's pretty small and there is no shortage of beanie babies and jerky. Crossroads bought out, I believe it was, the RKI folks last year and I have been to a couple of their shows since then and it is a good show and worth attending. I have only done the Crossroads show once, last December for the SAR show, and it was awesome. I have never been to any of the other shows there but if the December show was any indication I would surely go back. There were a couple of larger C&R vendors there and there were C&R firearms all over the place. The C&R scene in Vegas is kind of dismal but the aforementioned gunshops are worth checking out, I especially like The Citadel and Bill's Buy and Sell. I know that the Citadel has always been at the show in Vegas so I do not know what will be going on back at their store.

As a FYI, SAR only goes on at the Dec Crossroads show. The other three are (sadly) non-SAR.
