Reno is a great place, guns, shows and some good eats, Cabellas off the main HWY and Scheels at 1200 Scheels Drive Sparks, Nevada 89431
are a must to stop by, fun walk, I'll miss this one but maybe next year....

I have very fond memories of the Reno show from back in the 70's and 80's.
Those, my friends, were the days.
I went as a kid way before that, but there is no feeling like the one you'd get walking into that show with a pocket full of cash and knowing that anything was possible.The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.

Went to the show in August... my first time at the "big" show. Doubt I'll have time or funds to go in November though.
It was a blast and came home w/ a new member of the family and ammo.
+1 on making stops at Cabela's and Scheels. Didn't buy anything there, but it was fun to wander and look.
