New Gun store in Westminster?

I remember that place. its/was a auto dealership now. I was bummed when it closed down. That was where i bought my first pistol.
he had some m14s on the wall for 1400$ and that was back in 1997-98. I remember cause i wanted to get one and i couldnt afford it back then

they use to carry alot of reloading supplies i use to go there for stuff was nice to make one stop and get all i need.

Just went by there. The guys were finishing up the new sign but it looks like it's called "Field Times". Not a chain and nothing on the googles.

That's the name... it was so bad I couldn't remember it. Looks like they are hustling to get building, so go team. More gun stores, more gun stores!

Yes, they are pricey, and do have a bunch to look at. How anyone there could say they are $100 cheaper than anyone else is a shame. Just a big dirty lie. Maybe by anyone else they mean Fowlers?

I finally had a chance to drive by today and saw the big green sign "FIELD TIME-sport and gun". I am so excited that we have another gun store open in Orange County. Does anyone know the opening date on this store?

Kinda funny you mention Fowlers along with Stockade. They're sister stores, but many times if you priced out two of the same items, they're usually different in price.

It's good to shop around, even when it comes to those two stores.

Surprisingly Fowlers/Stockade chain has been in business I believe 50+ years. In all my years of collecting and my family as well we have yet to buy a gun there. Pricing has always been insane. Don't know how they manage to hang in there.

Excaliber guns sucked. Half of handguns in store couldn't be sold in CA and owner had major bad attitude and crappy pricing for the most part.

I wonder if this new shop will be the same tired old oll shops like have been sprouting up in the area that cater to Walter Mitty types and mall ninjas.

This area is already oversaturated with such places. Hopefully they have stuff other than Glocks at gouge rates and a few overpriced AR's.

I hate to rain on the parade, but if it's the store at Beach and Hazard, it used to be a gun store over 20 plus years ago and has been a thrift store and other stuff since then.

It'd be nice if a new store is opening there, but I'm guessing that the old sign has been uncovered for some reason.....?

Maybe someone could stop in and ask the workers what's the story...

The store sign is pretty big and looks brand new. This is the first time i see the sign in he last 15 years since i live here

The big gun sign caught my attention a week ago. It was an old carpet building that looked like crap. Since then they've really made it look nice, inside and out. Took a peak inside (still under contruction) and it's not a little store. Looks like lots of glass display cases for lots of guns.
