Who will our firearms go to?

In the event of an untimely passing, who gets our firearms? Lets say you don't have a last will and testament. Immediate Family members? How will they go about selling or getting rid of or keeping?

    Just a thought.

Well....in my experience from working in a gun shop, family that did not have a desire to keep the firearms after the passing of a relative brought them in and sold them to help pay funeral costs.

They'd probably end up with my older cousin or close friends.

No will? I would say: Wife, children, mother/father, next closest blood relative. In that order, pending you're married, have kids, etc.

Not married, they go to your kids. No kids, then they go to your parents, so on and so forth.

One of my daughters has already claimed my carry gun. The rest they can fight over.

Half of my firearms will go to my brother and the other half would split between my girlfriend and my dad

Are you married? If so, everything goes to your wife.

My step-mom got all of my dad's guns and refused to give me any or even let me buy them from her. Just make a trust and be very specific about where you want things to go. My anger and frustration cannot be described here.

My brother would get all my firearms, thats if i pass before my son (1 year old) isnt of age to own guns. But once he does turn of age, he will get the guns from my brother. I have a few guns that belonged to my grandfather, that my dad got when he passed, and that was passed down to me when he passed. Its a 105 year old Winchester model 1894. My brother doesn't have sons, just 2 daughters, it has to stay with the men of our family. My grandfather used to to protect his farm way back in the day.

Put all the guns in my burial plot with me and my ammo with me in the retort (cremation machine) so I can go out with a bang!
