ammo purchase under 21?

I just used the search feature and google, but was unable to find my answer regardless of the different sentence structures I used.
Any who, i was wondering if under age could buy handgun ammo if your a security guard with all permits and such? I know I go to places, they want proof of a rifle or something in that caliber before sale, but i dont have a .40 rifle or something. So I've been wondering if i show permits if i could get waived or something.
Just wanted to check with you guys since a lot of you know the law extremely well, versus some employees at stores.

since on the subject, im looking for a website a a fellow gunner recommended to
buy ammo. when i looked it had ammo cans in 500-1000 for only like 200$. i cant find it now, anyone have a place to shop?

also this place had jhp for cheap as well, just want to stock up, only have 1 box of fmj and one oh jhp

Georgia Arms (www.georgia-arms.com) sells remanufactured ammo in ammo cans, but it isn't close to $200. Most of their ammo is 7 weeks backordered but the 9mm, 223, and I think .45 is supposed to ship in 2 weeks.
