What's the nearest self-defense weapon available to you while you read this?

I'm at work, so the closest I have is my folding pocket knife clipped to pants pocket.

My hands and steel toed boots if you get close enough. if not my coffee cup makes for a great SD weapon. not only will the cup itself hurt when I hurl it at your face but the accompanying boiling hot coffee liquid will make you cry like a little girl.

Wow. I've got three knives, an AK bayonet and a hammer on my desk. I should really clean off my desk...

AK is in the next room, just pick it up and charge it and it's ready to rock. If I need to defend my home right now, I'll have time to make the AK, since it's upstairs with me and anybody coming in after me has to get through the door (or window or wall) to the stairs and up them before I can sprint the fifteen feet to the AK.
