    Belted Ammunition

A local store had some cans of belted .308 a while ago with every 11th round removed. Would that still be considered a high capacity feeding device?

So these were belts of ten rounds each ?

If you have to ask then the answer is probably the one you don't want to hear.

If they remove every 11th round then they are 10rd belts.

It is a belt, not disintegrating links. If it were linked, then there would be no question that each string would only be 10 rds long.

The belt retains its integrity when you remove rounds.

          Thanks for the replies.
