Turners Bashing

OK, we all love to bash Turners. Dummy clerks, long waits, and silly in house rules just makes them a joke/nightmare. But, I just know most of us still frequent the place, if just for browsing. In defense of Turners, I will say they are the cleanest, best lit, gunstore around. A lot of the gunstores in my area require a tetnanus shot and thourough hand washing after visits. Turners also ocassionally offer killer deals too. The key is to navigate/manipulate the half wit behind the counter to get what you want.

I had managed to avoind Turners for several year until I went in with a buddy last weekend. I caouldn't believe how picked over it was! The pistol cabinets looke about 10% full and there was nothing but junk on the wall. The only time I'll go in to Turners anymore is if there's something specific I want that they happen to have on special.

When i lived in long beach 10-12 years ago i went to turners alot the one i went to in signal hill had a very good staff in both fishing and guns.I was in there at least 2-3 times a week cause i use to shoot alot and fish so always buying something.Some of the guys were good with reloading so if i had a question it always got answered.

Have also been to other turners where some of the guys could use a course on guns.Guess some stores are great others need some work.

Most of the West Covina employees are good to go.

The employees (especially Eduardo Morales) and supervisors at the Pasadena location are about as useful as a box of smashed *** holes.

I always get great service from the Turners in Reseda. When I buy a case of shotgun shells they even offer to carry it out to the car. Polite and quick service too.

I have been going on and off the Turners in Signal Hill for the past 10 years. They are the only Turners I go into that welcome me right away and ask if I need help. For me thats the way Signal Hill has always been and thats with all the different employees that have came and gone while working there.

The other Turners I go to (Pasadena and West Covina) will ask me if I need help as well but not as quick. I swore off the Turners in Pasadena for awhile becuase some guy gave me attitude about some product I was looking for. It was me and another shopper in the store and he acted like he was to busy. I'm pretty sure its not like that right now in Pasadena, but I wil stick to Signal Hill and West Covina for now.
