My question is that I got a friend who got some rifles from his dad but his dad past away. He don't have anypaper work for it. How can he sell the rifles legally??

As long as they are not AWs (or otherwise illegal to possess in CA), he can just take the buyer down to his friendly dealer and do a PPT, Person to Person Transfer, at the dealer. the dealer is allowed to charge $35 total for the PPT DROS.

My brother give my dad a rifle but my dad give it to me. If I ever decided to resell it, who will need to be there to sell it??

another troubling question.

Since my dad give me a rifle that originally belong to my brother, which my brother let him have it. If i ever got pull over by a law enforcment from comming back and fourth from the range and they want to give me a hard time by checking the serial number of the rifle and it show up my brother name and not mine, would I be in trouble for having a unregister firearm??

Long guns are not registered. The only way for the police to know who your rifles belong to when they pull you over is to ask you.
