    restaining stock and should I.........

    Hi
I have a savage bolt action rifle with a wood stock. I sanded the stock down to get rid of the boring brownish stain and I plan on re-staining it. SHOULD I carve the Savage indian head and the savage arms logo in script on the stock or just stain it and call it a day?

I say, just stain it and call it a day. I like clean lines, and no labels/logos. That's just me. However, it's your rifle. Do what YOU like
