I like Ammo Bros, they have gotten a lot better in the Customer Service area in the last year. Especially seems true since Brad and Fredrico(is that his name?) have seem to taken charge a bit. The only issues will be the amount of customers in there now.

Well, it happened this past week, and they weren't busy. Things still worked out in the end, but clearly some of the staff need better training.

Completely understandable. I think everyone has gotten bad service from one gunshop or another. If they continually do it they usually loose business. I cant say anything about the Cerritos location as I have not been there yet. Only the one in Ontario and their service is has been great

Agreed, Ammo Bros is a great store with good people. Nothing but good experiences there.

I have bought firearms, ammo, LPK's and have done PPT's at Ammo Brothers and have had all positive experiences. The sales people are awesome, very knowledegable and patient and are just great all around guys to joke around with. Good Store.

+1 on Ammo Bros. I've only had positive experiences there, and they're just pleasant to deal with (which isn't something one can usually say for gun stores). My only issue with them has to do with my checking account

Wish they opened a store in Westside... All we have here is Rettings and Big 5s.

As a business owner myself I can say that this speaks well to the concern for quality customer service. When a business goes out of it's way to ask what did we do wrong when many others would be happy to leave it alone and not re-visit something negative.

And as a business owner I can say to Ammo Brothers that beemaze can be counted on as one of your BEST CUSTOMERS. When something that can go wrong, does, and the customer is not only willing to continue coming back and gives you a chance to right the wrong or improve AND willing to tell you about it so that you can prevent the chance of happening again, that is the kind of customer you really want.

I had him work on an old 1940 S&W revolver, and also a SKS.
The revolver needed some trigger work, and the SKS was a new build that I put together and wanted to make sure everything was cool before I started to shoot it.
He really did treat my guns like they were his own and gave me good advice as well as great service.

I love old guns and treat them with the respect that I feel they deserve, and Brad treated my guns in the same manner.
Can he replace SKS barrels that are threaded on? My Yugo SKS has needed a barrel change for some time, and I went to the guy at Republic Gun Works in Irwindale, but it's been months and it still hasn't gotten done; alot of people I called or e-mailed have said they either don't have the ability or won't do it because it is an SKS (even though they have the ability; that actually pissed me off).

I would ask him as he is very knowledgeable, and familiar with the SKS line.

What I like most about Ammo Brothers is that they told me they really like it when I come in.

This sounds like a real good customer oriented business. Me and another CGer will do our PPT there.
