      Interesting

Not great picture quality, but interesting. I thought they would have tested the M14/M1A round 7.62x51?

The M240Golf in the video is a belt fed MMG that shoots 7.62x51

I missed that during the first viewing, thanks for pointing it out.

I like how they call the AK-47 an assault rifle but the M16 is just a rifle.

Did anyone notice they did not test the shotgun?

Yup. I would have been interested to see what happens with a 12ga slug.

The M40 rig is a 308 that's a 7.62Nato equivalent. Went clean through the test cell.

Its pretty clear the 223 isn't all that....not even close. But I never suspected it was.

I would also be interested to see how well the old 1911/.45 would have done.

About exactly the same as the 9mm...

Depends, though. Are they comparing super-duper +p+ "let's try and close up the gap" rounds, or standard FMJ ammunition in both?

Given standard FMJ ammo, and not using performance ammo, I'd think the 45acp would win.

the M40A3 is also a 7.62mm and it went through a kevlar helmet

I think it would have to be FMJ.

Based on this I would expect them to perform the same.-
