According to the latest "Guns and Ammo" magazine, CZ is making and importing a new version of the CZ VZ58 with a button mag release and a 30 round magazine. It is not refurbs or factory reconditioned, but new guns.
Is anyone here in CA selling a modified version with a disabled mag release button (bullet point used as a tool releases the mag as on all the semi-auto guns like it being sold in CA as we speak) and a magazine modified to hold only 10 rounds. Seems like an opportunity to me. The gun appears to me far superior to any AK version I have seen.
