    Question for CCW background check

So I was wondering what consists of the background check? Would the state that is performing the check be able to see how many times your ID was swiped by an officer or are they looking for convictions? I have a California Exposed firearm permit for security work and was wondering if that would help. I was thinking of getting a Utah CCW and was wondering if I would be disqualified for having my ID ran but no charges.

Actually I'm thinking of getting my Utah and Neveda CCW permits. My wife and I plan on moving the family to Las Vegas in a few years. Just was wondering how tough it is to get one.

In NV apply now as a non resident in Washoe County (Reno). Avoid the Vegas B.S. and scrutiny. Eventually move to Vegas and reapply as a NV resident, disclosing your non resident NV permit on the application.

I was thinking about that. While doing a search I stumbled on the Mustang Ranch ccw course for Nevada & Utah. Whats up the Vegas? I know you have to register your handgun in Clark County within 24 hours but is there anything else I should be aware of?
