Has anyone had any trouble with Turners?

I sold a rifle on consignment early October and I still have not received a check for it I called corporate and they told me it was mailed on the 21'st i'm only about 20 miles from corporate and still no check. Anyone else had any similar problems?

call them again and tell them you havent recieved it? Its a multi million dollar corp so I doubt you are going to have problems you get at smaller gun shops and despite what the movers and shakers here will claim, they will actually take care of customers.

They have left you no choice but to show up at there office and stay there until you get a check in hand and for them to cancel the one they sent out.
I had to do this ounce with a refund check. I paid in cash for an item but it took them 3 months for me to my check back.
Of course after the 1'st month I went to the head quarters and demanded my money and I would not leave till I saw my check in hand. They offered to give me a $50 gift card, I told them nice try and that I will never shop there stores again.

While that works for shops like Ades, it doesnt help out in corperations where they have the cash being mailed out at an off location other than the store.

So what's a reasonable time one should wait to receive a check from a corporation, once a gun has been sold?

what makes me mad is that my gun sold in 1 day.

even if the firearms is sold in the first day, any gun shop has to have a pawn ticket on the firearms. This keeps the firearms in the store for longer than thirty days. Its also not technically sold until the firearm leaves the store. Not saying whos right and whos wrong, Im sure if you talk to who is ever in charge over there, they will take care of you in a speedy maner. Most people on the front lines of any company doesnt have authorization to do much.
