My father gave me his mid 90s vintage Taurus PT92 that has had at most 250 rounds through it. The only time he ever shot it is when I visited and we went to the range. All my other handguns are .45s. Now, I gotta get out to the range and try this thing out.

The PT92/99 Taurus is underrated. My dad has a PT99AF he bought from Camp Pendleton back in 1990 and it's still going strong. I actually prefer the slide mounted safety to the frame safety like on the Beretta 92FS.

I bought my Taurus PT-99AF in 1986 for a whopping $225 back when nobody wanted them and had a general suspicion of unknown imported names. I still have it and it was one of the best handgun values I ever purchased.
