It's because of the barrel shroud, banana clip, and 100x night-vision sniper-scope. Plus, it's either semi-auto, which is more accurate and thus more deadly than full-auto, or it is full-auto, which sprays 100,000 rounds per minute and thus more more deadly than semi-auto.

One time A guy was lecturing me on the evils of AWs. He kept throwing around words like "no sane person needs a fully automatic AK47 military assault rifle".

So I said, "I don't want an AK, but what if I wanted an semi auto AR 15?"

I just had some awesome tofu stir-fry with fresh-from-the-farmers-market bell pepers, onions, and other greens. And made a great sauce for it with teryaki sauce, sweet&sour sauce, Franks Red-Hot sauce, horseraddish mustard, honey, ground peper, and garlic. All over some tasty jasmine rice... I wish I didn't stuff myself earlier so I could have some leftovers for a 2am insomniac snack.

Now back to the clasic "to a hippy every gun is an AK" b**ching on a gun forum.
