Maddi RML Rebuild

I have all the parts from a pre ban Maddi RML, minus the receiver. What is the best, easiest way to but Humpty Dumpty back together again? Is one flat or legal receiver best for my rebuild project or will anything work?

NDS3 from Nodak or bend your own fixed stock flat. I have an RML. Its a genuine and complete Egyptian rifle. Some say it's the closest thing to an actual Russian AKM as you can get.

Nodak's AK receivers are prebent and 100% complete. The are especially great in that the entire receiver has been heat treated, and not just the holes.

Did you get a better trigger? I had a Maadi RPM back in the day and it had HORRIBLE trigger slap.

Yes, Tapco.
I put a pistol grip on it (and a mag lock) so it had to have some US made parts installed. The original FCG gave no trigger slap what so ever.

Oh and by the way, the Maadi RPM is the other off list Egyptian AKM.

What parts besides the NDS3 from Nodak would you order? I have the complete rifle chopped. Should anything else be replaced to make it right?
Trigger, or other options you could reccomend? I don't want to spend a ton of cash on it , but want it right I guess if I'm going to do it at all. I did a search on the NDS3 (To much to read) and it seems to be a popular option. Thanks for all your input. -g

With the US made NDS3, a Tapco FCG (and muzzle attachment if your barrel is threaded), and a US made pistol grip you have satisfied Fed. 922r regulations. The FCG and pistol grip by far is the cheapest way to be compliant. By the way, you missed out on the 70% off sale from KVAR just a week ago. $16 Arsenal FCG's.....wow!
