Hi everyone. I did a search and couldn't find the legal answer on calguns so I was hoping that everyone might be able to help me out. Here is my situation:
In April of 2008 I went to an FFL in the bay area that initially DROSed 2 long guns (AK's) for me, afterwards I came back to pickup and wanted 2 NDS-3 receivers-he said no problem he would just add them on and did, I then went on my way. No problems.
I went last weekend to DROS some receivers from an FFL in Norcal. I am transfering 3 long guns currently and asked if I could add on a gun after the DROS (and waiting period was done). I was told no since DOJ would not like it.
Can anyone give me a link to the law code that states that it is incorrect for guns to be added on afterwards?
Greg
