    PMC 223 rounds

Bought some boxes of this to shoot, how do they stack up against winchester or American Eagle or Remington, they were at least $3 less a box than the other brands. Running them through a Sig 556 Classic.

Poongsan Metal Corporation makes good ammo. They have even supplied the U.S military.

It's good stuff plus it's reloadable to boot!

It's always shot well for me in the AR and saved me a few dollars. I've shot their .40 as well - no complaints there either. Reasonable price and good quality stuff...I give it a thumbs up.

It is decent stuff, I'm currently running though a case of it. It seems a little bit less accurate than the Federal Eagle I was shooting before hand but it is certainly good enough for general training use. It IS however loaded down so is not as hot as a lot of the M193 ammo on the market.

I always thought, based on having a FFL in the early 80's, that PMC was Patton Morgan Corporation. Be that as it may, it is good ammo. I am shooting their 223 out of a Mini 14 and a 700 and am completely satisfied with it and would buy more of it if I found it in bulk at a good price.

I've had nothing but good experiences with PMC ammo, and one lot of 7.62 NATO M80 ball ammo was some of the most accurate 7.62 ammo I've ever shot - equal to GM match - and I still have no reasonable explanation for the accuracy of that one lot.

                        PMC is gtg.

Poongsan of Korea started a company in the U.S. back in the late 1970's to import their ammo from Korea. They named it Patton Morgan Corporation, just a made up name using the same initials as Poongsan Metal Corporation. They later changed the name to Pan Metal Corporation and adopted the slogan "Precision Made Cartridges".

Chan-U Ryu founded Poongsan Metal of Korea back in the late 1960's. He is considered the father of the Korean defense industry. His son Jin Ryu now runs Poongsan and his daughter Mi Ryu Ahn runs Pan Metal here in the U.S.

I almost bought this stuff today at Burbank Big-5, but there tricky pricing layout fooled me. I thought it said $7.95 a box, instead I found out at the register it was $13 a box and I quitely walked out of the store.

Poongsan has been making 30-06 for their/our Garands for awhile (if that is the same company I'm thinking about). The .223 brass is pretty good for reloading, I'm on the 3rd reload without any cracks.
