I've been wondering: I know we organize meet & shoots from time to time and such things. What about a postal match? Would anyone be interested in getting involved/participating?

Sounds like a winner! I'd say Handguns at short range so as to include our city dwellers stuck with only indoor ranges.

Possibilities are pretty endless. We can have caliber specific matches, position specific, range specific, etc.

It's competition where you send in the results of your shooting. It works on the honor system. You shoot the strings of the match and report the scores via e-mail to the coordinator. Some postal leagues have you send in a picture of the targets. The coordinator reviews the scores and posts the results.

Postal matches can be alot of fun, I'm in. Maybe organize local get togethers and send in the results. I'd be willing to handle coastal central CA.
