Damn, the last few times I've been down there I've gone on Fridays and they were pretty dead. Kinda nice when it isn't really crowded. Oh well, hopefully it'll be sweet when they're done.
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

Barry is a good guy to deal with for buying new fire arms. He got me a XD - 45 tacticle when no one else could get one at a great price.

I hope these improvements include more steel targets!

And I know its asking for a lot but something beyond 100 yards would be nice too. I know about the 200 yard range but it almost inaccessible to regular chums like myself.

The problem is not the number of steel targets, but the number of idiots who keep shooting the support beams.

I guess that's it right there. For the longest time I didn't even know there were steel targets.

The times I did see them there were only a couple strung up with wires. So when I say more I meant more than a couple tucked in a small little corner of the range.

They go through and replace the railroad ties, lay down new base rock on the walking path, rake up the empty shells. Basiclly just police up the place.

Seems I heard something about concrete barriers being added to make it easier to collect your brass?

I hope they get better benches, like those 2 concrete ones on the very right side of the 100 yard lanes right net to the 50 yard lanes.
