That ain't no 20 mm and it ain't no "mini" gun!

(It's the GAU-8/A: 30mm, it runs almost the length of the fuselage, and to prevent a dangerous induced yaw while firing, the "hot" barrel must be on the aircraft's centerline because the recoil is about half the combined rated thrust of both jet engines!)

If you ever look at an A-10 face on the gun is off center to the right(facing the plane), so that the "hot barrel" is centerline with the fuselage. The plane was literally built around this gun.
I think it can be confirmed that an alien xenomorph is absolutely no match for good ole' Alabama black snake!

If you're in a survival movie and the hot blond twists her ankle and can't walk, you damn well figure a way to carry her. If it's a dude, you shake his hand and say "best of luck".

500S&W, and an AR platform in .338 Lapua Mag. If something the size of a t-rex decidees to eat you, there is not much you can do about it, but for the small to medium size ones, the .338 Lapua Mag should work fine. I would say a minigun as well, but that's not practical nor agile enough to deal with dinosaur threats, especially in a jungle environment. Where would you kep all of the ammo for it?

Not a single person in the crowd is rational or reachable because the parade's for gay folks and it's in SF.

Keep in mind that in most of the countries where hunting elephant is legal, there is a required minimum of either 9.3x62 or .375 H&H.

You'd need something big and massive to smash through all that bone, cartilage and tissue. I'd choose the .577 Tyrannosaur in rifle (and hope I don't have to shoot more than twice...I only have two shoulders to dislocate ) and 44 magnum as the sidearm.

Funny, I just bought Jurassic Park 1-3 pack for $12 at Costco and watched part 1 last night.

A 30 cal wont stop something as massive as a T-rex. 50BMG would be a starting point.

Does a Stinger Missle count as a rifle or handgun?

A semi auto barret 50 with a short enough barrel thats its light enough to be shot while standing and moving through the jungle. You have 10 rounds ready to go and a big enough muzzle brake to not dislocate your shoulder. I would load it with Armor piercing incendiearies

For pistol. S&W 500 with custom loaded, depleted uranium bullets

9mm to kneecap the person next to you... Pretty sure dino's prefer injured and bleeding prey over the running kind.

Repeating Grenade launcher with AP and explosive rounds.

10mm Glock using heavy penetrating rounds. A solid hard spitzer loaded as fast as possible.

There is also the JPII book answer, repeating poison dart gun, maybe based on that underwater AK?

Or the "Tunnel in the Sky" (RA Heinlein) answer. Don't take a gun. the BEST idea is avoidance and caution.

If a 308 is not sufficient for Dangerous Game such as Grizzly or African beasts, what makes you think it would be sufficient for Dinosaurs?
