Anybody order from del-ton recently.

I have a lower that pretty much just needs an upper. I can get a del-ton 1:7 twist, with YHM diamond handguards, standard f-marked FSB, M4 feed ramp cuts, badger tac latch, panther compensator, and Ergo sure grip all done as a "kit" for about 675 or so. I was wondering if anybody has ordered in the last couple months how their progress is coming along. I know I can get better for the money and yada yada but I'm just looking for a cheapo range plinker to do a camo job on and not cry when it gets banged up. Hoping they're finally catching up to sales, so if anybody has recent feedback, that'd be great.

My buddy had an order in with them and finally gave up, It wasn't for an upper but a BCG and a few other small items. I think he was in 8 months before pulling the plug. I have seen complete uppers in stock at a few places I might go with another option unless you can get ahold of them and have them assure you it is in their hands and ready to ship, just my opinion.

Yes I ordered an upper from them on 4-2-09 because I was in no hurry to get it and it was a relatively inexpensive, its a good thing I am in no hurry,----- still not here and when I called the other day they said that they are running 16 weeks for orders, I let here know that maybe she used a different type of calender then I and then she said that the 16 week thing was just an estimate.. What ever.

I just received half of my order from 2/28 today; an upper. Still waiting on another upper. Don't expect anything to get it for about 6 months.

fair enough, as long as I can estimate 3, 6, or however long they may take. I may just get an upper from PK and swap out the handguards as I already have the CTR, ergo grip, magpul asap, on a MEGA lower all installed. We'll see. I figured for the same price, I can get all the other parts and have a bunch of spare parts to use though.
