I am old enough to remember when Turners was one of the better gun stores. I remember the store in FV had tons of handguns, black rifles, fishing, camping, hunting gear and many reloading supplies. I for one look forward to Turners getting back to where they started.

My first AR was purchased from Turners Outdoorsman in Riverside back in 1993. I still have the original receipt for that Colt Sporter Lightweight.

Their new ad out today sports some AR looking guns, seems like they are ready to jump into the fray on the assault weapon issue. Maybe they won't PPT lowers, but it looks like they are going to sell FAL's with semi detachable mags.

It would be nice to have 9 stores aroudn LA that will PPT AR's.

Maybe the new owners will do something about the crappy attitudes the gun salesman have at some of the stores, FV and chino in particular....signal hill and redondo are great, or have been for me.

Great news for firearms enthusiasts. More and better firearms stores is what we need.

Turners has always treated me great but more guns and "stuff" would be great.
