Only if Ammo Bros stated that you would receive all of the parts back and you didn't would they have ripped you off. If you didn't ask and they didn't say anything, then there was no ripping off. It is up to the consumer to make sure they know what they are buying.
That does appear to be a JJPERL device and so you just need a new rivet.
