District 9-Lots of Guns!

Hi folks,
Just saw District 9 (decent movie) and I really enjoyed all of the firearms used in the movie. In fact, I think we should start a contest to see who can name all of the "human" firearms used in the movie: from pistols to missiles. Anyway, the MNU Corporation in Johannesburg, South Africa gives a new meaning to the words "Gun Control".

IMFDB missed the FN FAL the helicopter sharpshooter was using.

Weird choice, considering an AR10 would be more precise.

It's South Africa. The FAL was standard issue. It's there under R1.

Thought it was intresting that twenty years later were still using Fals and M-16's and some girlish white gun. but the aliens tech 20 years old was still far superior.

Worth matinee price at the very least. I cheated a bit and saw an 1150 showing on opening day. If you can swing it, that's prime since the theater is normally less than 1/4 full for those shows.
