I know that CA has crazy laws. But I just got an E-mail back that says the AR15 chamber brushes I ordered were restricted. BRUSHES!!!!

Wont ever order from them again...

Call them back and ask for someone to explain why. Go up the food train as far as you can and ask each one if they really think this is appropriate.
Make them realize how stupid their policy is...

I've ordered so much from them I can honestly say from every category twice in the past years, I'm also a club member for the savings. I have never had a problem with them and even had ammo shipped to LA County, not city obviously.

i ordered a scope riser for my ar that said it was restricted , they shipped it anyway , i sent email as to why they would restrict parts that are legal for sale anywhere, they said that they could not keep up with what the laws were in kalifornia so they just restrict aw parts no matter what.

I tried to buy a sling and was told it was restricted . I went up the food chain.Apparently some moron hung himself with a S Guide sling and the family sue'd em . Won big bucks. Soooooo ,no more slings to Ka. Next some dim wit will eat a blanket and die ,and ...........

Last year they had a really good price on Swiss GP11 ammo (7.5X55 Swiss) so I ordered two cases.

I get my order acknowledgement . . . Everything is OK, then I get my online receipt . . . still no hit on my c/c. Then I get shipping notification, still no c/c hit.
Ammo shows up at the house, and then the next day the c/c hit was 2X what all of my paperwork said.
I called them and "They" tried to say that they didn't expect that the ammo would be selling so fast and they had under priced it.
I replied it wasn't my problem, said if I didn't like it, I could pay to have the ammo shipped back to them(on my dime).
I called my c/c card company and they dealt with them because the ammo is still in my garage and I haven't heard from then since.
Buyer beware when dealing with Sportsman's Guide.

Three orders from SG, three screw-ups.
1) Ordered a Stack-On gun cabinet so I wouldn't have to buy a trigger lock every time I buy a rifle. They shipped it without an invoice so I couldn't prove I had it. I called and they sent me a typed invoice on plain paper that wasn't worth the paper it was typed on.
2) Ordered several magazines for an M1 Carbine and some ammo. They shipped it all in a box with no packaging. One box of ammo broke open and the mags were dented from bouncing around without padding.
3) Ordered a cast iron griddle which cracked the first time I used it. Customer service said no problem, we'll ship you a new one and you can keep the old one. Two weeks pass, no griddle. I called again, they had no record of my previous call. Finally got a new one.
Now when the catalog arrives I look at the pretty pictures and throw it away.

Heh, another sportsmansguide thread. I think half of the members on this board have had a bad experience with those idiots at one time or another.
