I recently ordered a rifle from Czechpoint. These guys, especially Dan are very nice, easy to deal with and very helpful. They will even get out of their way to find a local FFl holder who is willing to receive your order if you have a difficulty find one. Very good customer service if I may say so.

Sorry I don't have my camera right now. It looks exactly like the photo on their website except that it came in with the sling already attached. The stock and the handguards are definitely used and need refinishing. There are areas where the finish is off. The rest of the gun looks like it has been painted.
I hope somebody would come up with some aftermarket accessories for this rifle. A scope mount over the receiver cover would look nice especially with the new micro red dots. I don't like the look of a scope over the handguard. It seems to be out of place.
I haven't been to the range yet.

is this a new gun? or is it surplus (coming from czechpoint)?

I asked them about scope mounts in the vendor forum section. They said that D-Technik is working on a receiver side scope mount (probably similar to the AK mounts), and they should have them in a few months.

I agree with you - swapping out the wood fore end for the plastic picatinny fore end (the only mounting option right now) would just look wrong.
