No, if you freeze it at 1:13 you can catch a piece of brass in the air to his right, above the blue skirt. It's at least a 9mm but most likely a .45
Sucks his slide kept closing on an empty mag.

SA = Situational Awareness - While moving he even kept the pistol pointed down or downrange...even without someone keeping a hand on his back to track him. Good on him to know where to point the thing, MANY (too many) folks older than him screw this up bad.

Not a 22 based on size of gun and spent cartridges along with the sound.

Also, notice that the grips were removed? Probably to accomodate smaller hands.

Notice how they did not show him actually hitting anything? (just trying to make excuses as it looked like he could out shoot me)

          Exactly.
He's off to a real good start.
He just needs to learn ammo management.
          If you are moving, RELOAD!!!

Awesome little kid! In a few years, he will be whoopin' a**. He shoots 45 ACP and it's most likely his gun needs some recoil spring tuning to cope with a little bit of limp wrist and reduced power load (probably shooting minor PF).

              I highly doubt that's a .45 now....

This link was on a Front Sight spam email, showing the kid's flinch when the gun didn't fire. Otherwise, the kid does good. Must have rich parents though.
