When converting "high" capacity mags to Cali. legal 10 rounders (specifically for AR mags) or purchasing already converted mags. what do you think is best riveted or blocked?

say any thing?
A block can be removed.
The normal cap mag must be remade in such a way that you would destroy it to return to normal.
Remember ca cap mags are subpar, 20-30 cap ar mags are normal.

You mean "permanent" right? And no, you don't need to make your magazines so "permanent" that they must be destroyed to convert them back to normal capacity. BTW, rivets are easily removed.Last edited by jaymz; 08-15-2009, 10:00 AM.War is when your Government tells you who the enemy is......

A rivet and a drop of lock tite are certainly good enough per CA DOJ's failed rule making on "permanent" modifications to semiautomatic rifles.
