I am most likely buying a rifle off arfcom

I know i need a FFL willing to do the transfer..
Any good suggestions, now that SJGE is out of the picture?

and once i get a FFL willing to do it.. what do i need to do?
send the guy a copy of the FFL along with my money order?

    Yes.

Some dealers prefer to send the signed FFL themselves. It can also be faxed. I find sending the FFL and M/O at the same time keeps everything together.
Sorry, can't help you with a dealer in your area.

Read the guys previous posts and be sure he is legitimate though. Not just some guy who registered to scam people. Try to say things like "will you be shipping from your FFL" and then ask a question that makes no sense.

I haven't done busines with Roger's Relics but others here have said good things. Don't forget Big_Mac on here at Irvington Arms.

Roger and Lisa at Roger's Relics are top notch. Absolutely no problems dealing with them. Friendly, professional, thorough. The only drawback is their limited hours (1/2 saturday, closed sunday, work hours weekdays), but otherwise they are perfect for all transfer needs.

EDIT 2020: To be fair that seems to apply to many Westerners also.
