How do you ppt ammo?

I?m supposed to be meeting another member to buy ammo. He is insisting on meeting at a ffl for a background check on my behalf. What documents do I need to purchase/background check for the ammo? What documents need to be in order?

OP, The best way to go about this is to officially change your residence address with DMV and CA DOJ via a modifiation of your AFS record.

1. Go to DMV with your ID and proof of residency at you new address. I do not know if there is a charge. If you have AAA, go to one of their offices and their DMV counter will do it for you. Alternatively, you can go to DMV.gov and do it on-line for free. Going to the DMV office is best.

2. Go to CFARS at CA DOJ create an account and log in. Choose "Modify Your Address" and provide the info requested. CFARS will e-mail you after you do this, at which time you can log back in check your status.

3. Be patient.

I had to do this after I moved in order to modify my CCW. It just takes time, but once done you're good to go for gun or ammo purchases.

Have him come to the FFL that's near YOU if he really wants to sell it.
Also, have your papers in order so you can pass a background check.

Not quite, you don't need a FSC or a FSC exemption document to purchase ammo.
