To Raiderh20boy: My seats were section 110, row 21, seats 5 & 6. You just can't get enough Staccato, can you? An RO at the range that I am a member, let me shoot his Staccato P. After that, I knew I had to get one.

I tested the trigger pull weight with my Lyman digital pull gauge. It measured

2.71 LBS with a STDEV of 1.42. This makes it the second best pistol with a great trigger in my collection. It ranks just below my CZ 75 Tactical Sports with a 1.81 LBS with a STDEV of 1.24.

The accuracy is stunning, all the way to 50 feet. I didn't shoot farther than 50 feet. I "machine gunned" rounds out of the XC with the same accuracy as shooting one round at a time. Getting back on target was just amazingly easy. Just as good as the CZ75 TA or the CZ75 Shadow 2 SA. I let two other members shoot the XC and they both were at amazed with its performance.

Now the bad. I fired the pistol just like it came from the factory. No lubing before I went to the range. The XC recoil spring is fitted for energetic rounds. It performed flawlessly with the 124 gr Lawman rounds. It absolutely hated the 115 gr Fiocchi FMJ. Lots of stove pipes and failure to lock back on the last round. It did OK with the 115 gr Blazer brass ammo. It did have a couple of failures to lock back on the last round. I have a bunch of Federal 124 gr and 115 gr that I will take to the next range secession. This pistol needs to break in. I will see if eats everything after 1000 rounds.

I am learning to be careful reassembling the XC. My hands got pinched between the compensated barrel and the slide. SOB, that was smart!

What a difference with cleaning and lubing. Used a synthetic oil and it ate everything at the range. It didn't matter who made the 115 gr or 124 gr ammo, it just ran without one hiccup. Oh yea!
