I bought two such as described in Posts #1 and #2 but have only used one of them since the setup does have some not-insignificant weight to it.

I carry the six swingers in a 50-cal ammo can in which I placed 1/2" ply dividers and spacers to mitigate any rattling around. That alone weighs maybe 30-35 lbs.

Then there's the stand, a rectangular affair offering multiple upright options (say, if you want a post or a stick to attach carboard targets) which weighs another 30-35 lbs.

The 5' post is two pieces bolted together w/ allen head fasteners through the backside. Don't forget your 6mm key. The assembled post weighs maybe 20 lbs.

The second setup is brand new and for sale for $140 if interested. I sure like the first one but carrying two of these rigs around is impractical for me since I carry a lot of other stuff related to camping and camping for longer periods (water, fuel, food, etc).

I bought the Spartan armor 6-paddle system, and also bought the paddles designed for .22. It's a great target system. I haven't looked lately, but they used to have great sales if you aren't in a hurry. If I remember correctly, they had good discounts at least 2 times a year.
