Question about searching in Gun Broker....

Is it possible to narrow down your search on Gun Broker to just guns for sale in California? If so please explain. Thanks

I have a saved search for handguns for sale in California. Use the "Advanced Search" function. Selection by the state sales is at the bottom of the page.

Keep in mind that just because the seller may be "in" California, doesn't mean the firearm is for sale to people in California.

After buying quite a few guns on Gunbroker and having them shipped into CA, I've realized the only accurate way is to look through the CA DOJ Roster for handguns (if buying handguns), match up the product numbers, and make sure that's the same one someone is selling on Gunbroker. Also familiarize yourself with the "roster-exempt" guns like those on the Olympic exemptions list and the single-action exemptions.

This means you will then be looking for a specific gun model. It isn't up to the seller to know CA laws, it's yours (the buyer). Attempt to have a gun sent in that's not compliant and the transfer will be halted, and the gun shipped back to the seller, which will be problems. Luckily, that has not yet happened, although I did come close a few times.

It's true. When I lived in kali and sold guns I put "No sales to California" on my listings.
