How did you guys handle bequeathing firearms to your minor children in your will?

I have more than a few I told them what they can have each and what not must be sold. They each get one of those then said what others they can get and do whatever they want. Prefer they keep though.youngest turned 18 last month.

I typed something up specifically outlining every detail. I named adults to hold the firearms until my sons are of age and can be transferred and gave it to my trust attorney. It?s not specifically written in the trust, but he put it in my file.

We have a family trust as well, so hope to try this approach. Need to contact our trust attorney and see if it can be done perhaps as an amendment, without a trust update.
