Shooting Glasses that fit over Regular Glasses?

Hey all new here and waiting for the new XD40 & 686 7 shot for the wife and me.

First firearms for us (though we've both gone to the ranges the past few years) and as most new gunowners recently, the current administration made us finally jump in and take the plunge! (so yes chalk up another 2 looking for ammo!)

While we are waiting for the wait time on the guns, we're getting our gear in and wanted to know any recommendations on anti-fog shooting glasses that fit over regular glasses.

The cheapy ones from the range tend to fit over glasses fine but the one I recently purchased (remington T-71) does not.

Wife doesnt wear contacts and prefers glasses over glasses.

    Thanks!

i was referred that safety glasses that hardware store sells can work, as long as they are impact rated. maybe you can try that route?

I use these and they work great. Gave a pair to my uncle and he likes them as well.

I have 2 pair of Clip ons. They're Yellow lens, UV & Shatter-resistant. I think they are Remingtons.
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I find that wearing safety goggles over regular glasses are uncomfortable, especially if I wear earmuffs.

                  I bought a set of ESS ICE-2X

It's ballistics rated and even used by law enforcement and the military.
The 2X set comes with both the clear and tinted glasses.
                  The set was about $75

Then I bought the ESS Rx insert

The Rx insert is about $30
I took them to my optometrist to have my prescription filled into them for $50

The insert can be clipped into either of the two glasses for indoor and outdoor, day and night, shooting. I even use the clear one for mountain biking at night. They stay put and breath well.

This all added up to be a little pricey but they're very comfortable. The ear pieces are flexible and expandable to fit just about anyone. They even make the Naro version for people with smaller faces or children.

The main reason I bought these was because I had a pair of Oakley Radar Rx with clear lens. I paid about $450 including prescription. Then when my prescription changed, I didn't want to pay $300 for the laser cut lens. I knew there had to be a better way. That's when I found out about the ESS ICE. I wanted a safe goggle which can be cheaply refilled and a pair of Rx sunglasses to go along with it. All my needs were filled with the ESS ICE kit.

I wear safety glasses at work. The ones I have are prescription with side shields. Those are my shooting glasses also.

I have a dedicated pair of shooting glasses (prescription) I think they cost me $100. They have a yellow tint & are polycarbonate. I find that it fits a lot better & it's just lighter & less bulky.

A lot of folks also use their primary glasses as shooting glasses which is good as long as it meets the requirement for safety.

Steve40, all Paintball mask companies have mask for eyeglass users. JT & DYE have a good selection. Look for OTG (Over the glasses) & double pane lens for anti fogging. JT has an anti fog fan that clips to the top of the goggles, which works really well.
